Meet Cheryl Tapper - Office Manager
Cheryl attended Center of Therapeutic Massage and Wellness to become a certified massage therapist and then graduated from Life University to become an X-ray Technician. While at Life she went through an accelerated program that taught her a lot and pushed her to learn as much as possible.
Cheryl began working at AIH in 2001 under Dr. Nakis until 2009. She then returned to AIH in 2013. Cheryl’s responsibilities include overseeing all staff and coordinating daily operations, while also assisting the doctors with specific treatments. She assists with the NCV-EMG testing, any X-rays and overall patient care within the facility.
Cheryl’s favorite part about working at AIH is taking care of the patients and seeing them get better!
Meet Meg Banike - Soft-Tissue Technician
Meg joined Absolute Integrated Health in November 2013. Currently, she operates as a Soft-Tissue Technician in which she breaks down trigger points of patients and assists with pain management. She also works with patients who utilize the HydroMassage and administers treatments. Meg will also assist with purchase orders within that department and paperwork filings.
Meg’s favorite part about working at Absolute Integrated Health is helping patients through their rehab process and seeing them progressively heal. Meg says it’s an awesome feeling when patients thank AIH for helping get them better.
Meet Marcelis Aguilar - Medical Assistant/Billing
Marcy attended Daly College where she received her Medical Assistance in Phlebotomy to be able to assist with surgical procedures. Marcy had a lot of fun and gained valuable insight while in college. “I love caring for people! I love anything that has to do with the medical field. I know it was something I always wanted to do.”
Marcy joined AIH in October of 2006. She oversees all medical billing and works as one of the medical assistants on staff. As an MA she tends to patients and the doctors to provide help and solutions.
Marcy loves working with the patients and seeing them progress through their treatments to get better. Marcy says it’s the best feeling when the patients express their gratitude, which lets her know that AIH is really making a difference.
Meet Joy Kluber - Nurse Practitioner
Joy enrolled at Waubonsie Community College where she completed her Associate’s Degree before transferring to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign to complete her Bachelor’s of Science. Joy went on to Rush University College of Nursing where she graduated with her Bachelor’s in Nursing. Joy promptly began working as a nurse at a regional hospital before then returning to Loyola University to obtain her Master’s in Nursing. Joy then completed her board certification to become a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Joy joined the AIH staff in June of 2017. She handles Ortho and new patient exams, as well as the assessments for patient injections. Joy also implements the neuro-stimulators to track pain points across regions of the body.
Joy says her favorite parts about working at AIH is the fact that she works with caring and supportive staff members and getting to know more about the patients.
Meet Lauren Lindley - Billing
Lauren attended Rasmussen College where she received her certification in Billing and Coding. Lauren says her experience taught her how to manage her time and really pushed her to excel as she was also taking care of her three children. Lauren truly exhibits the meaning of the word grit!
Lauren began working at Absolute Integrated Health in October of 2017. She is responsible for verifying insurance, billing out claims, submitting patient information, establish with patients their financial plans and discussing their coverage options.
Lauren’s favorite things about working at AIH are working with the other team members because they are great people and are very dedicated to what they do. Also, Lauren feels it is rewarding to be apart of the process where patients get better and back to doing the things that they want to do.
Meet Jennifer Valentine - Billing
Jennifer attended Morris High School before enrolling in Joliet Junior College where she completed her Associates Degree.
She began working at AIH in March of 2018 where she works in the billing department. Jennifer assists patients with insurance filings and other necessary paperwork to complete.
Jennifer really likes working with other AIH team members and seeing how the process comes together here at Absolute Integrated Health.
Meet Kandy Rossi - Medical Assistant / Allergy Tech.
Kandy began working at AIH in February of 2018 where she manages the Complete Allergy Program. Kandy handles patient care along with scratch testing, injections, drops and creating follow-up appointments. She also manages all supply and purchase orders for the Complete Allergy Program.
Kandy’s favorite part about working at AIH is that she gets to be directly involved with the Allergy department which is what she has been passionate about since she first got out of school.
Meet Samantha Ohse - Front Desk
Samantha is currently finishing up her degree in Bio-Chemistry from Elmhurst College in her pursuits of becoming a fully-licensed Chiropractor. Samantha hopes to be more involved with the research behind physical medicine.
Samantha joined Absolute Integrated Health in February of 2018. She currently manages patients appointments, organizes paperwork filings, administers calls, and delegates communication throughout the clinic.
Samantha’s favorite part about working at AIH is that she has the opportunity to learn first-hand from the doctors about what chiropractic care entails which is what she is most passionate about. She also thoroughly enjoys getting to talk with patients and learn more about them.
Meet Sara Lemons - Front Desk / Soft Tissue
Sara is currently enrolled at the Chicago School of Phlebotomy where she is pursuing her Medical Assistant license. Sara really enjoys the experiences there because she is learning new topics and procedures while also applying some of the things she already knows into additional practice.
Sara joined AIH in March of 2018. As a Soft-Tissue Technician, she locates the trigger points in patients muscles and breaks down pain locations. Sara also assists with the Neuropathy program by gathering assessments from qualified patients.
Sara’s favorite part about working at AIH is the atmosphere surrounded by working at a positive and vibrant clinic. “Our patients are awesome and everybody likes to have fun.”, she states. Sarah values working for a clinic where the mission is patient focused to the highest degree.
Meet Alex Wyatt - Soft-Tissue Technician
Alex began working at AIH during November of 2017. She works as a Soft-Tissue Technician where she assesses trigger points and breaks down other pain points in the body. She alerts doctors to where those points are located and if there are any new trigger points found.
Alex’s favorite part about working at AIH is that she gets to talk with many of the patients while learning more about them and their fascinating experiences.
